Hall Hunter has welcomed a group of pickers from the UK to help face the challenges created by the Covid-19 pandemic. Around 2,000 people applied for jobs and many of the pickers come from local areas and include people on ‘furlough’ due to the crisis and school and university students.

“I think some people have got an outdated view of what we are doing here,” said Clare Pullen who normally works in the oil and gas industry. “It’s really not hard work and I wanted to help the British farmers.”
