One of the highlights of this autumn was welcoming the British Berry Growers Technical Day to our Tuesley Farm, bringing together growers, researchers, industry experts and partners from across the UK berry sector. Tuesley Farm is the largest of Hall Hunter’s three farms and plays a key role in the production of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to exchange knowledge, share experiences and discuss the latest developments in soft fruit production. The programme included technical presentations, practical demonstrations and a farm tour, giving visitors first-hand insight into current innovations and best practices within the berry industry.

Collaboration and knowledge sharing are essential to the continued success of British berry growing. Events such as this help drive improvements in sustainability, productivity and fruit quality, while strengthening connections across the sector. British Berry Growers represents around 95% of UK commercial berry growers and works to support the long-term success of the industry.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to making the day such a success. Hall Hunter was proud to host this important industry event, and we look forward to welcoming the sector back to our farms in the future.
